About Us

Motion Dynamics Physical Therapy, P.C. began treating patients in 2000 and is housed in a 3400 Sq. Ft. facility located North of Sunrise Highway on Waverly AVenue in Patchogue, NY. This is conveniently situated at the junction of Holbrook, Holtsville and Patchogue.

Our facility offers the privacy of treatment suites as well as the more active setting in our therapeutic gym area. Motion Dynamics Physical Therapy, P.C. is a fully handicapped accessible facility readily able to offer rehabilitative care to those with dysfunction and/or pain affecting the neuromusculoskeletal system. Treatments are patient specific and utilize multiple techniques that can include:


  • Advanced Manual Therapy Techniques
    such as soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release, joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, and functional mobilization.
  • Traditional Therapeutic Modalities
    such as most heat, cryotherapy including Cryo-Cuff, hot/cold whirlpools, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, iontophoresis, paraffin, and TENS.
  • Therapeutic Exercise Programs
    utilizing isokinetic equipment including bicycles with adjustable cranks, functional apparatus such as physioballs, foam rollers, balance boards/cushions, Progressive Resistive Exercises and cardiovascular conditioning.
  • Neuromuscular Re-education Programs
    including trunk/core stabilization, PNF, upper quarter and lower quarter dynamic stability training, proprioceptive training and gait training.
  • Extensive Patient Education
    in written and verbal form to improve understanding of anatomy, pathology and normal/abnormal biomechanics.
  • Customized Home Exercise Program
    to address biomechanical deficits and reduce recurrence of injury.
